I was just wondering if anyone else is having issues with their audio jack in their coupes. If you are having issues let me know how you solved them.

thanks

Did you push the Aux button after plugging in? Mine works fine w/ my Shuffle.

You really have to push the cable in firmly, if not it will sound high pitched and funky.

Do you have to have an adapter for the ipod or can you plug directly in? I haven't played with it yet,,,

I use a cable that has two male headphone jacks on the ends. It's nothing special, you can get it from any Radio Shack for a few bucks.

The little Radio Shack type cable is directional. If it sounds funky, plug the other end in and that might work. I picked mine up for $6 on Ebay.

Make sure that the cable has the "iPod Compatible" sticker on it...otherwise it won't work!!

...definitely not a true statement. Any cable that has two male headphone ends on it will work.

My bad, guess I wasn't thinking about jokes at the time, I was pretty ticked off about my coupe being all messed up. lol Myn is still in the shop, I think it's time to get a lawyer.

hello,

back again,,

I have bought 3 different cables. I bought one from best buy 19.99, radio shack 3.99, and then one from the apple store itself, 19.99(monster).

I don't want to directly endorse one product, but after using all 3 and then listening to the music output. I have to say that the apple store product is the better one. I haven't had any issues with the music not playing on the right side of the sound system. My sound comes out on both sides now.

thanks for your replys.
