I've got a 94 J30, had it for 2 or 3 months now and it's great. But I'm having an issue with the car pulling to the right. I've had a balance, rotation, and alignment done and it still pulls. I took the car back for the alignment again under warranty from the first time and they finally told me (and I may be wrong on some facts as this is from memory) that the front is not adjustable besides the toe, and that the camber on one side is much higher than the other and that is why it would be pulling, but there was nothing they could do.

Looking at the paperwork they gave me, it looks like the camber for the rear is out of spec as well, though similar on both sides at least (not sure why that wasn't brought down).

I'm not knowledgeable about a lot of this, so I thought I'd post where I can probably get some info.

The tech said it would require an aftermarket kit, but that they tended to be pricey. He didn't really give me any info about that.

So does this sound about right? I can post the numbers if it's necessary. And what is it that I should do, or if there is a kit what would I need?

Thanks everyone.

The camber is not adjustable on the J30. The point where the top of the strut mounts to the chassis would be the adjustment point if the J30 had one.

Hmm alright. Any knowledge of any aftermarket kits or anything? How off one is from the other is too much of an issue to not correct.

That question is outside my scope of knowledge. Maybe if you post up your alignment specs someone more knowledgeable will chime in. I don't think there are any kits either.

An option would be to install S14 steering knuckles which would give access to may different coil-over setups with camber adjustment, but you are taking a major investment & modification.

I wish i could find that adjustable top hat.
My camber is way negative and its heck on the tires.
Figure my only option is new springs.

fronts you can use EVO 8 camber plates and the rear is not setup like a 240z. you use these control arms in the rear is you are serious about adjusting camber: https://www.splparts.com/store/product- ... id249.html

post a copy up of your alignment results. here was mine after i got my car running and swapping over to my coilover suspension.
