1993 240sx hatchback with stock KA24de. did a brake upgrade- 300zx front calipers (30mm), s14 rear calipers (bigger piston) also did a complete s14 se spindle conversion and full front and rear stainless steel brake line. got the car back today but the brakes feel totally soft and i think i should be getting more braking power with that setup. Master cylinder still stock. doing 35mph and try to lock up the brakes but it does not lockup to burn tires just to see the braking power. the brake pedal also travels about 1.5 to 2 inches before the car starts slowing down. Any answers?

Sounds like you need to bed the brake pads. Right after doing my swap it was super soft until I did a few 40~10 stops as hard as possible.

If that's not it maybe another bleed or bigger M/C.

You should get the 300zx BMC when you do the brake swap. AND make sure you bleed it real good too.

make sure that the bleeder valves are pointing up towards the sky. If they are facing down, meaning that the calipers were installed left to right, and right to left, this can trap air within the system.

Also, you need to consider the fact that you are moving much more fluid, so you will need a larger bore MC to compensate.
