I have a really big issue with my clutch system on my 240sx its a 93 KA and i just replaced the clutch it-self and slave cylinder recently. I just started getting alot of pressure in my clutch pedal to where it builds so much pressure that is starts slipping to correct this problem i just released the pressure from the slave cylinder and it good to go pulls great but then back to square one again builds pressure in the line and starts slipping been going on for about 2 weeks. Anyone got any ideas what i need to do fix or what im doing wrong in correcting this issue?

NOTE-I also replaced the master cylinder as well but did not fix the issue at hand.

i had that same issue a couple of years ago. do a search for clutch bleeding. if your car still has the dampener thing in the clutch line, you can remove it and it will help make it easier to get all the air out of the system.

you may have a leak letting air in, but more likely you just need to get all of the air out. it took me a few bleedings, but i finally got it all out and haven't had any problems for 2+ years.

I think your clutch dampener is crapping out. There is a valve in the box that gets gummed up.

Remove the dampener, reconnect, rebleed. You should be good to go.

20 minutes and you're giving up? Patience bro, patience.

Like mentioned, bypassing the dampner box is a good place to start.

Awesome i will go ahead and look into that thanks for the update. the dampner can be removed completely (not needed) for the clutch line ?

Yes. Some guys carefully bend the hydraulic line around, some get a short line to reconnect. It makes the bleeding easier also.

There are many posts about this issue, just search.

I can almost guarantee you your problem is gonna be the rubber slave cylinder hose. It's probably collapsed causing it to not let the pressure bleed off. Had the same thing happen to me. But all that pressure may have also affected your master cylinder. Try the hose or get a one piece stainless steel line that runs from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder and be done with it.

I will try removing the dampner first. re-routing the line sounds like a project all in it self but if the dampner does not work thats what i wil have to do thanks for the update. .
