issue with steering colum

when exiting or entering my driveway I hear and feel something in my steering colum, it's a very solid feeling like the slip joint is bottoming out, anyone else encounter this ??? p.s. I have a 07 versa sl HB, 1.8, cvtMFG 12/064642 MLSLAST 6 OF VIN-397641super black exteriorcharcole grey interiorfirst oil change done just shy of 3k, and went with amsiol 5-30 full synthetic

Sounds like the problem that CodeRed experienced on his first Versa. Nissan was never able to find or repair the problem, and he ended up winning arbitration under his state's lemon law.

Are you feeling this as you go over a bump or while you are turning?CodeRed has a clunk sound over bumps, I'm having a problem of a knocking feel in my steering wheel when making left turns.

I feel it in my steering wheel when I go over a bump or when I drive over a dip in the road but only when turning not while im traveling straight forward, still not sure why and dont have the time to take it back to the dealer to have them give me a song and dance, so I might just live with it concidering its not a saftey issue and it has not got any worse it has just stayed the same.
