Just recently Miniova and PirateBay became inaccessible to me. I figured the sites were just down but it went on for several days so I tried getting to PirateBay from a proxy and it worked fine. I don't really like using proxies and I can't torrent anything from PirateBay to begin with, so is there anyway around this block that I don't know about?

Wow...that's really lame.

I have no suggestions (I don't bother with torrents), though...sorry.

PirateBay just launched a anonymous private VPN service. - iPredator (http://final.ipredator.se/)

You put your email in and they send you a invite code as they get more servers, and they feel they have enough bandwith(long list, i got mine yesternight, took a month). Its 5euro a month, and I didn't sign up yet so idk how much USD it is, but cant be that bad.

Its in Beta now, and seems to be mainly in sweedish but once you get up and running, you should be able to tunnel your traffic through that.

edit: holy crap, i didnt see this thread was 2 months old before posting. my bad.
