ISO: Silvia Emblem for my 240

Need one o them JDM Silvia emblems for my trunk. I checked around, and all I could find was S14 ones. Anyone reccamend places to buy one? Or perhaps have one to sell ?:|

Yeah, we just had another thread just like this one. Putting Silvia or 180sx badges on a USDM Factory 240sx is no better than the hondas and mustangs with GTR badges.

I say that, but I will also say that I have a blacktop in my S13 hatch, and After the 180sx TypeX tails, I will put 180sx windows on it.. and not fell bad about it.

Just as a random side note, as I was getting into my car today... I saw a maroon S13 coupe purr by, and on the back it said Silvia. It also had the N1 style exhaust, and lowered stance to make me believe that it very well might have been swapped.

do what you want with your car, dont listen to stupid people. When I bought mine the previous owner had put a silvia emblem on the hood, but the rest was completly stock. I dont care, im sure not going to spend money to switch to a nissan one instead because some people are idiots and think there is some kind of rule book about modding cars, But I would have never wasted money buying it either, there are much better things to spend money on that will make your car more fun to drive

Its not really about rules you have to follow, but more like common sense. If an Integra LS was to have a type R emblem on it, I would call it rice because the owner is putting something on his or her car to make it seem faster or something it is not. For example, putting skyline taillights on your car, not worth it. Put a silvia emblem on your 240 when you have an SR20 motor. If your car came with them, but doesn't have a swap, dont worry bout it if you gettin a swap in the future. I just feel 240 owners should earn their right to put a silvia emblem on their ride.

Um yeah but the silvia owners have also swapped theirs out to usdm emblems here and there hehe.

Unfortunately they will never get to feel the raw stump pulling power of the good ole KA.

Putting non-standard emblems on vehicles is not just limited to the "ricer" population. One that comes to mind is, I often times see M-series (BMW) logos on non M-series BMW's.

Do whatever you want to do with your car. It's yours, enjoy it. No sense in being a sheep, in search of approval.

why do people care so much about what they do to their car? if you guys think ricers are that bad then just deal with it nothing u can do about ricers by b***hing in here. If your into modding cars thats good for you, if your into just making ur car look good wether it looks good to you or to other people, let them. No need to tell other people what to do and not to do.

Not everyone wants to go super fast and race or autox so if they wanna put some oversized wings for the look of it then let them..

I am confused. I alwasy thought you would only put a emblem on your car for what it is. Even people that put the 180sx lights on there car..........Isn't if you have a 240sx it is because you have a 2.4liter. If you have a 300zx, you have a 3.0liter. If you have the SR20, you have the 200sx which is a 2.0liter and so on. So if you dont have the 1.8liter CA why would you want the emblem on your car?

I like my Silvia emblems Mainly I used them because the USDM ones look ugly. I’m sorry but I think that "hamburger" looking Nissan logo that used to be on my hood looked like $hit. One day when I get the 3k I will put an SR hump back in my car but until then I will try and kill my KA!

Partially incorrect.

The Silvia's are NOT ALL tagged by what their motor is, thats just mainly how they did that here

Many (if not most) 180sx' had SR20's as well, I believe.

Yeah, I may wind up doing the body swap before the motor swap, because quite frankly I'm a loser who wants his car to look badass

But I WILL have my SR, the only thing is, do i get one with a stock turbo, or get one w/o and add a turbo ?:|
