Isnt something supposed to be there....

Hey guys, this is my first post but ive been reading for quite sometime. i figure its time for me to get involved. I bought my s13 about 2 yrs ago and for the last two years i have been wondering what the **** is supposed to be in the empty space naxt to the cigarette lighter. Its a small rectangle about 1inch by 1.5in. I suppose i could go to the Nissan Dealership to find out, but im sure someone knows what im talkin about.

it's for your power mirror controllers, I gues yours didn't come equip with it, SE has.

I took mines out and sold it on ebay, maybe the owner before you bought it and put it in your car.

Well in my car, which is not an se, there is a hole, just nothing there. I dont know why it would be there in the first place though. oh well

if you have power mirrors, the control switch goes there. if you dont, there should be a little black plastic piece that clips in there...obviously it's missing, no biggie.

He just said what its for. Its the power mirror controls if you have an SE. That's what I got in that spot (right next to Tino's mom).

I too have a gaping hole where that little cover should be. It seems that the previous owner of my car pried that thing off and then stuffed some trash down in the center console.

One of these days, I'm going to find out if I can order one of those stupid little pieces of plastic. The hole is bugging the hell out of me, but it's somehow embarassing to order and pay good money for a 1" by 1" piece of plastic.

I had my alarm light installed there. The base models just have a plastic piece in that space.

well i just flipped through my trusty parts list and i didn't see that plastic peice in there. i doubt you can get one from the dealer.
