Okay, I need a new turbo for this year, I have been running a t28 at 16psi, i don't need anything more right now, but i was only borrowing the turbo i had. lol

I'm looking at the isis turbo charger, I think it'll be good, i've bought a lot of stuff from them, and i'm impressed.

So Has anyone used it? Pictures etc.

I haven't heard anything about their turbo since it is relatively new (i think) but I would be hesitant about buying a cheap turbo.

I think you have to ask yourself, what did you buy from isis? Suspension arms and exhaust are just welded piping basically...a turbo is a much more sophisticated piece.

But if your willing to risk a turbo crapping out quickly and probably making sub-par power for its size, go for it.

Isis isn't ebay parts though, but you have a point, I don't wanna cheap out on it, but isis sells it for 500 dollars, and enjuku uses them on there cars, so they can't be that bad?

Enjuku can also call the rep and get a new one like that when they break. Isis is just a private labeled generic brand. They buy the parts from the same people as godspeed and mishimoto. Save up and get something better.

I got a legit t28 from a Pulsar for $450. It has a bigger compressor than the s15 t28. It was still cheaper than the ISIS one. Remember that thread about the ISIS toe rod? If they can manage to mess up a toe rod, I'd hate to buy something that actually has moving parts spinning at a high velocity.

I don't recommend the ISIS turbocharger.

I say just buy it, let us know how it works. Everyone has comments about isis but not many have actual used the parts or been in a car which has their parts on it.

to you clowns ^^^^

just cus i KNOW its a bad idea doesnt mean that NOT doing it makes me not credible.

like eating poop. people say no. people who have NEVER eaten poop say not to do it.

but according to you, i should eat the poop, JUST to confirm for the world that damn, poop tastes bad.

gohan. its risky. china-charger just NEVER seems like a good idea. you, yourself said you had TOO much power to learn to drift on. throw a $50 t25 from an SR on and learn that way... while saving up for a nice bbt28

Well..you could buy the turbo and take it to get professionally balanced, but the price of that plus the turbo, you could've purchased a garrett

Just one of the many golden responses haha. Win and logic all in one.

100,000+ rpm... Do you think people with low assembly line morale and a dial caliper made the bearings, shaft, compressor to a nice tolerance? There are so many factors for a turbbbb that could = failure... Failure that would send fan blades into your beloved ka. Do what Greeneyes said and get an s13SR turbo for cheap til you can step up your game is my opinion as well.

I won't hold it against you if you use isis though. To each his own

Ahh yes, comparing poop to a turbo..point taken. The problem is that you don't KNOW that it's a bad idea, your just ASSuming. Maybe that's where your poop reference came from.

S15 GT28R turbos are on sale at a couple of places right now too... spend a little more and have something legit/reliable, IMO.

Some Z31 drivers have used chinese turbos with great success, I.E. 2 years with no problems. And I'm sure Enjuku has some sore of warrentee on the turbo. I would run one on my car, but I'm have a T3 flange.
