mynismo.com aka performance nissan has the s15 turbo on sale right now for 631. Call 866-739-1936 if you want one. I saw it advertised on zilvia.

And fyi, I would not run that turbo if it was given to me free. There is a local guy running that turbo right now. He has some kind of misfire problem not related to the actual turbo. I'll let you know when he blows the turbo.

And you can find used gt28r, gt28rs and 2871r almost all the time used for around 700-800. I would buy used before buying that isis turbo.

The only things from isis that I would buy right now are the intake manifold or exhaust manifold. Anything else, I would buy the better brand.

I would rock it. I trust ISIS. I've sprinkled some ISIS products in my setup, and can attest to each items quality and effectiveness. For example, I have the ISIS radiator fans, which I mention because you can really see them working. They're quiet, they don't whine, and they keep the car under three bars on the temp gauge, even in stop and go traffic. To each their own, of course; but I trust Enjuku, and by extension ISIS, so I would consider running the turbo.

Theres a pretty big difference between running ISIS fans and turbo setup, they have all cheap products-would you buy an ebay turbo? Its hit or miss, personally I wouldnt use it either.

Save your money for quality parts.

I knew someone would say that... and it's true, there is a big difference. I was just making the point that the ISIS stuff is quality, especially for the price. I would consider the turbo based on the quality that I have seen in their other parts.

isis radiator fan-if it fails, your engine may overheat but you will catch it in time

isis intake manifold-worst thing that could happen is a vacuum leak

isis exhaust manifold-worst thing that could happen is a exhaust leak

isis turbo-if it fails, metal shaving and shard may enter your engine

don't get me wrong, a garrett, turbonetics, precision turbo still has the chance of failing but the faliure rate is much lower.

thats like $150 bucks more . . . and its a garrett - those isis turbos are not meant to pull big numbers - just spring a lil more cash

Things not to cheap out on - turbo, radiator, coilovers, and windshield wipers!

why buy a part more than once? - do it once, do it right . . .

dont gimme wrong though - i have bought a couple isis products, but if they failed it would not harm my motor and i wouldnt be out much money if it was a fail part - so far i'm impressed - but not impressed enough to buy their turbo.... isis ex. manifold version 2=ftmfw

i had a buddy who had an ebay radiator - cracked after about 6 months . . . as far as intercooler- do you have anything to judge it by as far as pressure drop? My buddy bought his hybrid intercooler off ebay - but thats definitly not an ebay intercooler....

Another buddy awhile back had an ebay radiator which had awful cooling capabilities . . . ended up frying his motor over time. I guess i never understood "building" a motor with $3-5k invested and then skimping on something like a radiator . . . still baffles me...

copacetic - meaning completely satisfied . . . any part sold for our cars can satisfy the job at hand - its how well they exceed our expectations which is the true measure of how well the part is made....

but just my .02 cents....

It's a quality product advertised by Enjuku. Enjuku puts out good stuff. Try it out and let us know how it goes.

i was being sarcastic about the wipers - an autozone guy gave me a lecture one day, " When it comes to brakes and wipers always buy the best that money can offer, son" . . . wtf . . . "okay mister, thanks for the useful info, not"

a friend of mine bought isis s13 ruca's and the are crap. the hoop is too small so they rub the coilovers when you jack the car up. if they cant get a ruca right I dont think I would trust a turbo form them. And I think that kinda throws the "enjuku backs them soo they must be great" theory out the window.

Not necessarily. This is the aftermarket world we are talking about. Nothing ever fits exactly perfect 100% of the time. I had a set of Brian Crower Valve Spring Retainers that were machined wrong. Doesn't mean BC stuff is crap, just those three retainers. Enjuku has a solid reputation for testing a product AND using it on their race/street cars before advertising it in their catalog.

And if your RUCA's are only rubbing against the coilovers when the car is jacked up, I don't honestly see how that is a problem. For me, it's only a problem if it happens under normal driving conditions.

The "Enjuku backs them so they must be great" theory still stands, IMO.

Don't be such a turd (pun intended). There's a huge difference between Kobe's a** and Enjuku testing and using a product before they advertise it.

Kobe FTL.

I want you or someone to show me a direct link to where it shows that enjuku tests and uses isis products themselves. Last time I saw, enjuku only requests that customers write a review on the product they bought. Enjuku does some pretty high end work. I doubt they would put any isis suspension arms or turbos on their drift cars.

I am not saying isis products are bad. But certain wear items like turbo, suspension arms, etc I will not cheap out on. I am planning on buying the isis s14 intake manifold here pretty soon. Not a wear item and I saw the isis manifold in person at the enjuki stand at formula d. Pretty good quality imo.

But my point is that people are arguing that since Enjuku promotes it, it must be a good product. People with common sense should know this is not always true. No matter how much you argue, the fact is that all these brands like isis, megan racing, circuit sports, etc are all made in china or taiwan. If they were made in the usa or japan, they would be much more expensive.

And Kobe FTW.

never seen this til today . . .

http://www.isisperformance.com/

the isis turbo is intended to only replace the t25 or t28 - not upgrade!

Good to 330, but thats not a whole lot to me, IMO

I think you are interpreting it wrong. If you are upgrading from a t25 to a t28, 28rs, 2871r, 3071r, these are all replacement turbos but still considered an upgrade.

When they say replacement, they just mean it can go in the place of a t25 or t28 but its still an upgrade.

its similar to an s15 turbo . . . i know guys running t28's that put more than what isis is claiming at 14 psi . . .

do you think enjuku would promote these isis turbos over garrett turbos? c'mon . . . if my t25 broke and i had no cash for an upgraded gt2871 or other turbo i'm not even sure i would get the isis turbo - probably go s15 turbo

I agree with this to a certain extent.

I work at another Nissan performance shop and we have actually been testing a set of ISIS coilovers for Ken. We have had them on our car for ~6 months now with great success. None of his products have been rushed to the market without being tested (both initial quality and on-road tests).

Ken is very concerned about promoting the ISIS brand while protecting Enjuku's good reputation. Are some of the products knock-offs? Sure, you can't reinvent the wheel. Are the products made in Taiwan? Probably, but so is half of Greddy's crap.

If one of my customers was in a bind and needed a cheap turbo quick, the ISIS turbo is a good alternative to buying used.

what alot of you on here don't seem to understand is how much more is involved in making a turbo compared to a radiator/intake mani/exhaust mani/radiator fans/etc. ISIS is not known for their exact fitment so I wouldn't trust them with the tight tolerances a turbo needs. it might work great for those first 10k miles. or that first 14 psi. and i'll stand by this until someone corrects me with actual test info

To each their own. Im running the 50trim t3/t4 that enjuku sells and Ive put about 1500 miles so far on the motor and the turbo is perfect for someone that just wants to get threw a season and has future plans later on

Enjuku hooked me up big time. After I got the turbo I noticed that it wasnt the best craftsmanship so i emailed them and got nothing but reinsurance that if the turbo failed they would hook me up with another of my choice

The turbo spools very close or identical to a garrett 50trim and once i get on the dyno im sure the numbers will be no different

You will always have people saying "do it right", "throw in the money and get a good turbo!!". Well not all of us can afford to dump 1200+ on a turbo if we plan on actually driving the car the same season. Yeah go ahead and dump thousands of dollars on a turbo and hope it doesnt fall so you can spend another 700+ for a new center section ( if ball bearing). Ill stick with a 150 dollar rebuild kit.

Guys,

Hopefully I can answer a few of these questions and respond to some of your comments.

Does Enjuku Test ISIS - Yes - http://www.enjukuracing.com/ke....html

That is my personal car. Anything that i dont have time to test, we ask others to help us test before bringing an ISIS product to the market.

I am running the ISIS RS3360 in my car. For the money i think its great. If I was running an SR and my T25 died and i didnt have a grand for an upgrade, i would buy the ISIS Turbo hands down. If I had the money i would go bigger, but with bigger comes a lot more money.

As for turbo failure. We have sold a bunch of these so far with ZERO failure. Just 1 week ago we had to do a warranty on a Garrett GT2871R which failed instantly. In the year we have been selling ISIS we have never had to warranty anything due to a fairlure. We do warranties for Garrett, HKS, Greddy, Apexi.. almost every day.

For the one of you who's buddy had an issue with the ISIS RUCA clearance, we have had 1 other person in the batch of 1000 arms that had a similar issue. This is all due to the brand of coilover, ride height, alignment, etc... Because of the 1 other issue we actually had ISIS redesign the RUCA with a larger sweep around the coilover to prevent any issues like this from ever happening. If your friend is unhappy he should have called us right away so we could have replaced his RUCA or take care of him in some other way.

I have all of the ISIS Arms on my personal car !!!

ISIS Arms are on the Retaks S13.5 Pro Formula D Drift Car - http://www.isisperformance.com...erman

We dont make people buy ISIS. We sell thousands of brands of product. If you dont want it, dont buy it. I would be more than happy to sell you anything you may want or need. If you want to save a few bucks and have a great quality part for the money, buy ISIS. If you are worried about warranty on any of the ISIS parts, dont be. Before selling any ISIS stuff we had long talks with them about warranties. It was agreed that we can handle all warranties. If any ISIS product fails due to manufacturing issues we will replace it, no questions asked. If someone isnt happy with something we will replace it. Its really simple. Unlike 95% of other manufacturers warranties, ISIS is EASY!! You would be surprised how many warranties get denied by manufacturers, just because they dont want to do it, or make people "pay" for repairs..etc.

Again to reitterate:

ISIS = great for the moneyWarranty = In over a year of selling ISIS, we have never had an ISIS failure. The few issues or concerns that people have had, have been corrected right away. ISIS Arms - Sold over 1000 arms, On my personal car, and ALSO on a Pro Formula D Drift carIn over 10 years in business i have never been known for selling "cheap" parts. In over 10 years in business i have never found an inexpensive product like ISIS which exceeds my expectations for the dollar spent.

Feel free to email me or call me directly if you ever have any questions or concerns about ISIS or any other product. We are here to help!!

Thanks

We got a small shipment of about 10 set in. They all sold within about 2 days. (for people ragging on them, i never had so many of one thing sell so fast) I wasn't expecting them to sell so fast, so we never had ISIS put more into production for us. They are in production now, but will be about 12+ weeks before we get anymore. So, I had to take them off the site for the time being. I dont want anyone trying to order them and then have to wait that long.

Thanks

Ken

i thought the same thing. enjuku swears by isis but all the stuff ive got from them had to be modded and was missing screws and bolts. my intake mani wouldnt fit the stock fuel rail so i had the to slot the s*** out of it and the molding for the oil pan has a big lobe that u have to cut out for it to even bolt up. im not bashing isis im just stating facts. lots of guys on here have bought stuff that was easy to install and worked well but im not sure if i would ever buy a turbo from a company who cant align holes. thats just imo
