Figured I would post up an install and review of my new Isis SS lines that I got from [url="http://www.enjukuracing.com/categories/Nissan-240sx/[/url]

I got some of the Isis stainless steel brake lies from Enjuku racing since the stock rubber lines are over 20 years old and I have auto-x’d my car and am planning to do more events. These lines are a direct replacement for the stock ones and only took about 2 hours to install (see write-up below).
So far, I have noticed a much firmer pedal feel after installing the Isis lines. I am expecting there to be a little less brake fade at auto-x events.

Front brake installation

Once the wheel is off the car you need to remove the old brake line. First, remove the clip that secures the line to the wheel well.

Next undo the 10mm fitting that connects the soft brake line to the hard line

Finally remove the 12mm bolt that secures the line to the caliper

Here is a comparison of the old line next to the new one

To install the new line attach the brake line to the hard line

Next attach the line to the caliper with the new bolt 15mm
Finally, use the clip to attach the brake line to the strut

Your new front brake lines are now installed.

Rear Brake line installation
Undo the clip holding the soft line to the hard line

Using a 10mm wrench remove the hard line from the soft line. This connector is really hard to get to, I found it easiest to pull the connector through the support that the clip was attached to by pulling on the soft line.

Finally, remove the 12mm bolt connecting the brake line to the caliper.

To install the new lines connect the soft line to the hard line, making sure the brake line goes through the support.

Next, bolt the brake line to the caliper using the new 15mm bolt.

Finally clip the brake line to the support you ran the line through.

After all the brake lines are installed bleed all of your brakes and you are good to go.
