ISIS FPR, which side is inlet/outlet???

Just got my ISIS FPR and I was wondering if the direction of flow through it mattered? I wouldn't think it matters based on how they work but I want to make sure. Nothing is labeled and no instructions came with it. Does it matter which side connects to the rail and the other to the return?

ISIS FPR is real similar to the AEM FPR as well, if anybody has installed an AEM one let me know.
