Just curious. Please also post the year of your car.

If you don't know..

Just open up your hood and look on the left side. You should see a wire laying against part of the car's frame. You'll see this down in there on the right side of your left headlight. A wire should be seen branching off to the frame. Grab the end of it and you should see a yellow head with a black and a white wire.

Looking down..

See the headlight and the frame on the right of the red circle? The wire should be laying on the left side of that frame. If you see a wire resting against the left side of the frame, reach down the and grab the head.

Yellow head with black and white wires..

There you go..

I have an '08 S and the wires are there!

Just installed new fogs probably the cheapest oem way out of it i could. Butchered the plastic bezzle, used a door hole drill contraption.blah blah blah,

Camel learned me that the S with the power package along with the sl package without are the ones that are wired for fogs.So there you go.

No need to pole.

I'm not entirely sure what the power package is... I got the 08 S with 'value options package' which included power windows and remote entry and I'm pretty sure heated mirrors. So do oyu think mine would already be wired up?

Of course my '08 SL with sport/tech pkg has fogs but I've been wanting to install them on my wife's '07 S model since we live in the country and the roads are very dark at night.I don't see any wire as described on my wife's car but I will take it to work and have a tech remove the front splash shields and see if the S is prewired for fogs. (one of the perks of working for a Nissan dealer)Will report when I find out.

ADOversa, Canadian models and option packages are different from US models and options so while US models may be prewired, Canadian models may not.

I saw your car in the service parking the other day when I was coming in.

Nice wheels.

OMG, seriously? That is very neat. That is where I purchased the vehicle. I went there to look at the bumper protector for the V, but it wasn't the one I wanted. So I didn't end up buying it.What colour Versa do you have/model? What do you do at Plaza? P.S. So far the service has been great at Plaza, I love it. I have only had to go in for oil changes but everyone is very nice.

Oh, and the wheels are actually my winter tires. Hankook tires and Sacchi rims. I just cleaned the V today again and the rims shine up nicely. I'm starting to like them more than my stock rims.

Bumper protector? Do you mean bug deflector? Not familiar with bumper protector.

My car is magnetic gray. You'll see it in the parking lot. Plate number is IMHUNGRY

We probably met when you bought the car. I'm the business manager.

BTW glad to hear you're happy with service. They try pretty hard and it's a thankless job. I know Jenn and Lynn would appreciate your positive feedback.

I think I did meet you when I purchased the car. I bought it last April, went there with my dad. And at the time there was no Versa in the lot with the sport package which is what I wanted. So Brendan (who sold the car to me) showed me your car in the lot. I have seen your car in the lot before, looks great. I remember you saying that you drove far to work, through country roads. I wanted a bumper protector, I have the bug deflector already. The bumper protector covers the part of the bumper where the hatch closes. Most of the SUVS have these bumper protectors. I wanted ones like some of the members on here have. Ones that have contour lines on it to match the inside of the trunk. I talked to Jamie, who had never heard of it either so he ordered one in for me to look at. I went to look at it and it was just plain black, no lines or design on it. I told him I would think about it. If I change my mind I can always go order one. It costs $47 plus tax, installed it was almost $80. I ordered the bug deflector shortly after I purchased the car and installed it with the help of my dad. And I just ordered window deflectors from versaspeed.com, I'm just waiting for those to come in and then I'll be installing those. Yes, so far I've had only positive experiences at Plaza. I constantly tell people to go there and look at a Nissan. My V was the best decision I have made so far, I love it !!!!

I believe as mentioned earlier, if your S has power windows and door locks chances are your car is prewired. From past post, I thought only the SL's came prewired but found out that wasn't always the case after checking mine.

My wife's car is definitely not wired for fogs.

We installed some stealth fogs today behind the lower grillwork but didn't have time to wire the switchLooks pretty cool so far....

OK so anybody know if S'es with no options are prewired? It's dark out and I don't wanna go poking around under the hood right now.
