So I completed the KA24DE swap, but I used the MAF from the KA24E I originally had. It runs fine, I just spliced in the old pigtail from the original MAF into the new harness. My question is am I losing HPs by doing this. I can now get my hands on a KA24DE MAF and was not sure if I would gain anything from it. Has stock injectors and cone filter instead of air box. Is there any gain by going with MAF from a Z, and do I have to do anything besides splice in the right pigtail?
Thanks Carl
PS, not newbbie, just can't get into old login

The KA-E maf is same nissan part number as SR20 maf. So no loss on a DE power wise. But going Z maf would require a tune as your ecu would freak out over the new signals its getting and run like crap

Hey Fenris, Thank you very much for your great response. It will really save me a lot of headache.
