IS THIS WORTH BUYING

Have a chance to buy a 91 2wd standard cab hardbody with 170k miles for $1400. Has had a new timing chain installed one month ago, manual trans is great, has air conditioning that works and paint is rough but a good runner. Looking to intall the ac into my 90 hardbody and use other parts as spares. Is this a descent buy and are parts worth anything if i was to sell some?

91 Standard cab that you plan to use for parts? $1400 is a bit high. I bought a 96 in rough but fixable shape for $800 if that helps as a reference point. You'd want to sell as much off of it as you can to get any money back on it.
