is this worth buying?

Ok im looking at a S14 in really good condition except the engine needs a new headgasket..hes sayin $2k but i might be able to bring it lower..

so do YOU think its worth it?

well if it truly just needs a head gasket i would go for it. the only thing i would be worried about is , my girlfriends dad bought a nissan pickup and the guy said it was just a bad head gasket, turns out the head was cracked really bad between cylinders 2 and 3. but for 2k thats not bad, especially if he will go lower.

It's hit or miss, a friend of mine bought an S13 with a blown head gasket and it was just replace gasket, case closed. Another friend of mine bought a Yota pick up with a blown gasket, turns out the head was warped. Be careful, and good luck to you

yeah im getting pics tomoro so thats goodand i think miles are around under 150K but if i do get it im planning to SR swap that ***** in the summerand its a 5spdman i cant wait to get a 240!!!!!!!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NBqtAkXgWqc thats my friends^

1k maybe....2k pass. i bought mine for 750 with some massive electrical problems and minimal rust, which is fixed and im still under 1k.

I would say go for it. Headgaskets are cheap to fix.. If you can do it yourself!

I saw go for it.Try and get him to come down closer to the 1,500$ range if you can.
