Looks like pin 47 black with yellow stripe..
Is this wire suppose to be hooked up?

It looks like its for the check engine light.

looks to be ignition signal (key on) so answer is yes, a lot of stock nissan ecus will not start or behave properly without the signal and some standalones require it as well.

zfever did the engine harness... called and sent them the picture. They said it was the starter signal and that it does not need to be hooked up. The car turns over and the ECU comes on.
