So i have an s14 everything stock without a rear bumper...its currently sitting cuz ihave no money atm..lolmy dad said that if it sits too long later on the motor may have problems like not start up....is this logic true...lol idoubt it

im planning to fix it up by summer just wondering?......

Well yeah, things can seize up obviously. All the rubber seals/lines and such can dry out and begin to crack. That can lead to leaks, corrosion, etc.. I would put some fuel stabilizer or something in it if it's going to sit for LONG periods of time. Otherwise, start it up once a week or so and take it around the block/let it idle for a while.

learn to listen to your elders. yes that logic is true, alot can happen to a car while it is just "sitting"start it and let it run every so often, keep it clean under the hood and inside. if it sits for a long while the gas can go bad. things can dryrot and corrode, like wires and vacuum tubes.
