So I started mounting my intercooler today while I wait for the turbo to arive, and Iv stumbled accross a problem. Since I don't really want to take off my bumper support cause there is a lot of not smart people driving out there, I fit the intercooler between my Radiator and bumper support. Do you guys think there is too much restriction?

Im also going to cut out the lil vents in the bumper too, the white ones in the pictures incase your wondering.

But let me know what you think and recommend

THe positioning isn't ideal. I would try to put some ducting to guide the air to the IC. It'll also help with radiator efficiency too.

Overall not too shabby.

Personally, I think its not getting enough air. You may want to add an electric fan or somthing maybe. Actually, an intercooler sprayer would work well in this case.

Never looked behind the bumper myslef, but maybe you can lower it in the chassis a bit. Looks like theres some room in the first pic, but looks like its sitting on the lower rad support in the 2nd. BTW, thats a large IC. How much power are your planning on?

And flip it over so the outlets are on the bottom. I cant even guess how you plan to run the piping in its current layout. Seems like they'd hit the headlights.

+1 for cutting out the nose vents. Virtually free mod thats functional (slightly) and looks good IMO.

Actually I have two Altima fans sitting right behind the RAD set for pull and boy do they pull.

But I was thinking that maybe in this case I can set one up for push and one for pull.

And yes this is a slightly large Intercooler, but hey I got it for free so you cant beat that. Right now my goals arent major, but at least im ready for the future.

And as for the piping I have all that figured out I will post pictures as soon as I get them ran. but the piping is the least of my worries. I was also thinking that once I cut those vents out I was thinking of maybe creating some type of ducts that run from the vents to the inter cooler to give it some more direct air.

But as of now with out removing that bumper support that is the only way it will fit. Plus I kind of like it cause it gives me that hidden look.
