If your familiar with aftermarket leather pricing, the dealer quoted me $1200 to switch out my fabric chairs for leather, all 5 seats including labor and parts. What do you think?

Thank You (for my coupe)

Sounds about right for dealer pricing. Id recommend to look around in other shops and get quotes since I'm very sure it will come out less expensive to do that way.

Do you think that is legit leather? I would think it is Chinese fake replicas? If its legit, I could just bring that to the dealer and pay them 300 to install.?

Thank you

Most aftermarket leather kits that are worth a damn come from Katzkin.

Anything else, just skip.

So you think the dealership is better to buy from if its Katzkin rather than that ebay link above?

Not all leather is created equally. I am always weary of buying anything off ebay if im looking for real good quality products (which is most of the time). With ebay, you truly never know where those products are coming from, even if they'r branded, there are lots of fakes out there. Get from a reputable site or custom shop.
