Thanks for the reply, 3.8 sounds interesting as a half-step and it would be an oem set, as opposed to the afterarket one you mentioned.

3.538......3.694 from[97-01Q].........and all the rest at roughly 5% increments.

You must find a gear that works wirh the transmission gears to get you thru the quarter mile at redline in third to optimize acceleration.......that would 40% higher diff gear or a 4.95 +-1st at 35 mph2nd at 63 mph3rd at 97 mph4th at 140 mph at 6500 rpm, 148 mph at 6900, 157 at 7300 rpm.

But who wants a 2800 rpm cruise at 60 mph with the 40% mileage penalty

So,

Let's say I was going to use a 25.7" tall tire, I have a 91 non-tcs, non-active, JWT ECU, TCU, 100 shot.

I'd be really interested in your thoughts on a 3.8 or 3.9, Q45Tech.
