Is this the ECU ?

I was doing my grounding wires and I am trying to figure out which one is actually my ECU there are metallic boxes in that vicinity ones at the bottom right edge of the foot well one is above that hidden next to the air filter so you can only see it if u wedge yourself in there and look up and right...

Here is a picture of the footwell with the glovebox removed and the right side kicker plastic trim removed:



This a close up to the stuff you see in the picture above on the right corner, says Nissan on it and all that:



Now, right above that and further front maybe a few inches right next to the firewall, hidden from view and only be able to see if you stick your head into the cavity and look up... is :



The view of which is looking up, so you are seeing the bottom of it, and next to it the white plastic is the cabin filter/fan (its this roundish plastic housing). You can see my grounding wire hooked up there because I think thats the ECU ?

i believe you got it right...the first pic looks like the TCU

and the last pic looks like the ECU but its hard for me to tell from the weird pic angle

looks right to me

RESET the ECU when you are finished installing the wires and take it for a spin

Yeah, I can't really tell from the pics either because it's a funny angle, or at least it looks funny. But the ECU is the one that's on top, the TCU is tucked further in and below the ECU.

thanks for the replies butyou guys r funny how is it at a funny angle...it goes from a normal str8 ahead view of the footwell... to a close up of whatever you just saw, same angle as you would be looking at it... and then the only way to be looking at the supposed ECU is to look up and to the right LOL which is exactly how I shot it

but ok so last pic is the ECU then... the one in plain sight at the foot level of the footwell is not.. ok gotcha

if i were you i would have taken the pic at a straight forward angle. i think you have it looking up as if you underneath it, feet to the back of the car.

yeh its hard to get in there. good stuff. If anyone thinks otherwise let me know.
