Ok, here's the low down.

This is a 1994 R32 RB26DETT motor. This "block box" looking thingie has no harness that goes to it. The wiring for it appears to be separate from the main ECU harness; the harness that plugs into this I do not have. I suspect that this is the Boost Cut Solenoid, but this is just a guess.

Basically, what is this? Is it required? There is a small vacuum line that comes off the rear side of the throttle bodies directly above Injector 6. That vacuum line then leads to this black box thingie. WHAT IS THIS?

Thanks all.

it's the boost pressure sensor for the gauge cluster or wherever an GTR stock boost gauge is located.

On my RB25 it's 3 wires and goes straight to the gauge cluster - ECU is not involved. The back of my cluster has two points for BM+ and BM- and the third wire is power to the sensor that came from the underhood fuse box.

Exactly what I needed to hear. Thanks Boardman for the quick info.

More than likely I am gonna use that point for my vacuum sources for my boost gauge and etc and not use this device.

Appreciate it......
