thats not true. the turbo escort or escort Cosworth was damn fvcking awsome. oh wait, it still is. thats right that still make it and its one of the most bada$$ rally cars built.

I must admit, the new Focus looks like it's gonna do *very* well in the WRC once they get the bugs worked out.

Yeah the Cosworth is pretty damn awesome, you can get a very similar car in the US with the same engine but it's under the brand Merkur, Merkur XR4-Ti to be exact.

the XR4-TI is a USDM version of a sierra cosworth. cool cars though. pretty similar in specs to a starion but with more power (smaller than a silvia but still RWD). they have quite a bit of potential

maybe they should team up withthose NC boys from a few weeks ago. you know the one's with the aspire, granprix, neon, and something else. wow soon they will rival our local show Slammin' and Jammin' oh wait no no they wont cause it is a real show hahahahaha although im sure this year like every year there will be a lot of show and no go but damn they have some nice looking vehicles there. at slamin that is.

most rednecks wouldn't touch those cars except the grand cherokee, (thats like our version of an escalade) but they make a good beater/ beermobile.

I mean they are probably have no money and are trying to make the best of it, and have a bit of fun with their cars, which that they clearly care about a lotThey are not all that different from the rest of us, like that.

When I broke up with my fiancee (or she with me I am kinda blurry on that) dropped out of grad school, and couldnt for the life of me accomplish anything, I used to be very very poor as well ....and I remember even the littlest things i could do ,with my $900 car (mostly in the form of constant detailing) would give me some joy in my low socioeconomic rut.And I can imagine having car meets with some buddies with equally inexpesnive transport and still admiring our rare ( and cheap) cars.That was 10 years ago and if it was now, maybe I would have followed the current trends and got wings and stuff, I dont know..I just am not the judgmental type I guess.

I think I just lost about 3 years of my life for seeing that.

That reminds me of my friend's car. It was a 87 escort. Had no power steering and two of the four gears. Anywho, so I got to drive it one day (what a privelage) and as I hit about 15mph or so, it began to violentley shake. I started to freek out, and my friend in the passenger seat just looked over and said "oh thats nothing just floor it" . That car thankfully died about 3 weeks later.
