Yeah, we all seem to be busy doing non Datsun stuff at the moment. I am going to try to get to my 64 engine swap this summer, and I will post alot of pics, but for now, working on the garage...

any idea as to what swap your doing . I bought my 63 with a L18/ 4speed long . Im doing a disc brake swap but now the motor seems underpowered for the overkill brakes . Im thinking of going L20

No such thing! Anything is an improvement over the stock drum brakes. Even if you kept the stock engine, better brakes are just that, better brakes. I have a J16/5speed combo in mine and would do the disc brake conversion if I wasn't planning on selling the truck.

Can't wait to see the progress!

I'm going to be starting a full body-off resto on my NL320 here in the next year, and will do a step-by-step series of articles on the progress.

Well I got all the parts except for the brackets to do the disc swap. Im doing it because my brakes are seized from siting with the ebrake locked on for some 10 years( i bought it like that). I believe instead of fixing why not improve. I also (think) scored a running daily driver L20b/5speed to do the swap ,my engine is hideous and i need that extra gear for freeway driving.

Hey how difficult is that KA24 swap because my firewall was cut into quite alot for the L18 and now it looks ugly. Instead of shaving / welding the firewall they silicone-caulked some aluminum sheet metal what a BIG f***ING MESS
