I was looking at this SR20DET setup and i was wondering if it came with everything that i need to install the engine into my 240 vert? I know i have to get a manual transmission from someone else but other then that i think i would be set. Don't you?

That comes with the transmission.. it's listed there.

You'll need to get a few more 5 spd conversion parts (clutch pedal, clutch master cylinder, clutch hard lines, clutch soft line). You'll need to work on the exhaust setup. You'll need to get a couple radiator hoses and some electronic fans for the cooling system. You would be wise to do a front mount intercooler during install. You should be prepared to buy a new clutch.

You can print all the wiring instructions off of the SR forum stickies.

Oh.. and by the way.. You would be wise to be careful with Canadian importers. Not that I've heard anything bad about this company.. but keep in mind that you could run into problems with customs. Also, you have no legal means of going after them should something go wrong.

You should check out DragDriftAutox.com. They are local to you. Talk to Luis, he's an awesome guy. You know you'll get great quality and service and help if you need it.

Another fantastic place to buy is jhotimports. They are a NICO sponsor and have a fantastic track record.

Good luck!

I've never bought from any of these individuals but I can tell you that the few hundred dollars you spend on a known comodity is well worth it in the end. Sometimes the best price isn't always the best deal if you get my drift.

Good luck!

the front clip is basically the whole front end of the car.. they cut the car in half just past the dash, so you get everything from the dash forward.

Unfortunately.. most companies that sell clips actually strip most of the cool parts out of them before shipping (body panels, lights, brakes, etc..)

I wouldn't get a clip for an SR swap.. It's just not necessary to have that.

But for an RB swap.. .I'd get the clip.
