I have been looking for SR20's, even before I have a car. . And I found a website called jdmenginescorp (link) http://www.jdmenginescorp.com/engines/nissan I found blacktop SR20 from an S14, which is what I'm going to buy. And it cost 2,400$. (link) http://www.jdmenginescorp.com/...-swap

I was just wondering if this was a good deal or not. And if anyone can explain to me what the differences are in the redtop and blacktop that would be great. .Sorry for the noobie questions. . .

Thanks

Jonathan

Thats an OK price but you should really shop around and check reviews from customers from different companies. Word on the streets is Enjuku is the place to go.

REMEMBER YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

Oh, and since you don't have a car what are you going to put it in? I vote bicycle.

I smell a fanboy. It smells bad.

Watch, and think twice about buying from JDM engine corp.

I would buy from JDMHookup in st. louis, or Elite JDM.

$2400? jeez, that is really cheap!.....you get what you pay for! Well, if you were able to find this website on the internet then you should be able to find the differences between the SR20's. Most people would be looking for a descent car before looking for an engine. What's up with all these new guys asking questions before doing the research?

Maybe you should consider buying the "Used imported JDM Nissan Altima KA24DE 2.4 Liter" that is listed in that website.

Most likely things such as:ignitorMAFBOVIC pipingIntercoolerintake pipe pre turbodecent usable accesory beltsturbo exhaust flange gasketregular exhaust header gasketmetal tube for radiator lines to KA rad if you use it,

and a plethora of hoses will be needed for the swap.

Just research stuff b4 u buy, you'll be spending at least 500 extra if you want good parts.
