Product Type: TRUE DUAL CAT-BACK SYSTEM (Complete Exhaust System from Catalytic Converter Back). Eliminate factory y pipe and convert it to a true dual exhaust from the cat-back. This results in an increase of 16-20 horsepower. Weight is also reduced by 12 lbs over the factory system.
if thihs is true then why isnt it chosen over the stillen cat back? it produces the same power and reduces the weight by about the same according to this statement on another forum.
HKS also makes a true dual system...from my knowledge these systems are fairly new so that may be why stillen is chosen over them....maybe ppl prefer the sound i dunno...but from the looks of it, the true dual system seems to be better IMO.
The borla design is poor. They use a chambered muffler as opposed to a strait through design (HKS/Stillen). I've personally heard it, and was not impressed. The HKS sounds the meanest...but not worth the extra $$ over the Stillen, which sounds great!

No complaints about the Borla system from me. It sounds WAY better than stock and has a great tone to me. I've received several compliments on the sound of the exhaust from mechanics and non-gear heads.
I heard a couple of Stillen exhausts on some tuned 350s at Forged Performance. They sounded nice, but it wasn't so distinct as to say if one was markedly better than the other.
