my friends boyfriend.. says he had a 90 s13 wit a s14 sr20det swap in it.. and put in 37,000$ into this car.. the best time he got was like low 11s. and that he was using street slicks?? yokohamaz..

i know this is part of the bs team.. but can these be possible.. he said also that he ran this in nj englishtown..

i question it because one 37k$ is alot of money.. secondly then to be running on street yokos and thirdly if i put 37k$ dollars into my engine i would expect to do better then low 11swhat do u all think?joe

I think he's a moron, but that's just me. For 37,000 dollars he may as well drive a skyline. : ) Additionally, if he paid way too much money for everything he might hit 37,000 dollars and an 11 second quartermile, additionally just because a car is capable of a trap time doesn't mean that it will actually run that trap time, it depends on the driver. Also, a lot of people greatly overexagerate the amount of money they put into their car so that you'll think they're cooler. Look at all the Honda owners who say they put 40,000 dollars into their car and it does nothing. How much money you put in is a status symbol to a lot of people, unfortunately when you actually know how much **** costs, you know they're lying. Of course, there very well could be something we're missing, maybe he blew up his motor a few times, or he isn't running it to its full potential, or he has changed setups and thats the total amount of money he's put in, etc. Theres lots of things that are possible.
