Hello everyone, I am new here and have a question. I have a KA24e motor that i would like to rebuild. I was curious if it is possible to place a KA24de head onto a KA24e block. All information is welcomed, thanks.

Anythings possible... But you dont want to do this, way to much work for nothing. Just swap the whole motor out for a used DE ka and be done with it. Or keep your SOHC head.

Short answer = Not possible

Not possible without a huge budget and knowledge, but then you'll have wasted you're money on an engine that would be equal to just buying a a dohc for a couple hundred and then swapping in some sohc pistons.

I would keep the sohc, it's only like 10hp less than the dohc and has plenty of potential.
