The run down is I just got done installing tomei poncams, gtr injectors (Acura Legend Resistor), N60 Maf, t3 Airesearch Turbo, New Intercooler and piping, deleted the Charcoal Canister, and Carl H rom tune. Car would crank but would not turn over, well it really tries but just wont stay running. I believe it is my timing but I wanted to make sure it couldn't be some other things I did. It sucks when you do so many things at once, it makes it hard to trace down the problem. My ECU is throwing three codes it looks like 21, 22, & 43

When running the new piping I realized the T that comes off the IACV and runs to the IC pipe and AAC solenoid had no where to go since I eliminated my factory pipe with by pass valve. So I did this just ran the hose from the IACV to the Solenoid.

I put the timing belt on and off like 10 times trying to set it at TDC and the last time we rotated the crank by hand and it looked like everything lined up, I'm still not confident in it but I have yet to pull the cover to see, plus can being off 1 tooth keep the car from running? Another thing is when I would usually crank my car before the upgrades I would always have to give it gas as if it was a carb'd vehicle when I tried this (giving it gas) if it had even started to turn over a little bit pressing the throttle would immediately keep it from turning over.

Thanks for the help guys.

hey man, where you located? Maybe I can lend a pair of eyes and a set of hands.

You might have set timing up on the wrong stroke? Has it ran or it just wont turn on with out assistance?

Sorry for the threadjack, but 2 questions:

#1: What FMIC is that?#2: Does that allow you to keep the bumper support if you wanted?

I'm in Orlando off Bates Rd, just north of Titan Motorsports

The FMIC is a Ebay CX Racing core it is marketed for the Talon and Eclipse guys. You could more than likely keep the bumper support but I forgot about it and ran the pipes and mounted the fmic right where it would go, but you definitely could just gotta route your pipes around it.

21 - ignition system22 - does not exist; possibly 12 which is maf43 - tps

you need to run a maf with the larger injectors else it will not run.you also need to put a nipple on the charge pipe to supply air before the tb to the aic and the iac else the car will not idle or run either, so reinstall the tee and any vaccum lines associated.

You were right it was 12. Well I made a nipple for the iacv and that is all back like it use to be and I finally got the timing belt on and eveything tdc. Cleared all the codes from the ecu as well, but still not firing.

Looks like I've got fuel down in the cyclinders, definitely have pressure showing on the FPR. I'm pretty sure I have air. The only thing I haven't been able to officially test for is spark.

Definitely TDC now checked the compression and spark on the first 3 cyclinders all is good.

Confirmed compression and spark on number 5 which leads me to believe that they all must be good and the only thing I must not be getting is fuel.

and now the only code i'm getting is 13 which is engine coolant temp sensor. Could that really keep the car from turning over though?

how did you wire up your resistor box? also did you check for injector pulse with any kind of wedge bulb like a 921 or a noid light and you can check to see if there pulsing with thte light and if it flashes fast then there pulsing if not then there is a wiring issue. the resistor box needs a 12v switched supplied otherwise it wont start.

I don't have a test light but there is power going to the injectors I checked that with my multimeter. I haven't had any help, so I haven't had someone crank while I'm testing them.

So i'm setting at I think it's my injectors. What kinda of ohms or volts should they be reading while trying to crank the motor?

Because I'm not afraid to say I'm a dumbass, I'm a dumbass. Figured out today I wasn't getting fuel and some how my fuel lines got swap so now it cranks I'm going to wire up the wideband and take it for a spin hopefully tonight.

When working on cars there is a method one should use KISS, Keep it simple stupid and I would have had this thing running last week.

Thanks for the help guys and I hope you can all look at me without judging.

haha You're not the first to do that nor will you be the last! Good job on figuring it out though. Troubleshooting when you're so close to driving it is pure torture.
