My Sentra is in 5th gear at 50mph at around 2500rpm.

I've got a 90 FB and it hits 3 around 70-80. Given that the SOHC is slightly weaker you're should possibly be a tiny bit less. But it mostly depends on outside factors. Humitidy, temp, gradient, and driving surface all all play a roll in exactly what speed it well rev to a given point.

every 240sx with the same engine and the same transmission/rear end is going to be at 3k at 70. gear ratios are not something that changes from car to car, unless they offered more than 1 gear option, which they didnt.

Actually if your car came with the VLSD option the rear gearing is a little different but not enough to notice, it only changes the rpms by like 200-300 in final drive.

Sounds about right.

My SR runs 3K at about 80 so you should be right on with that 70.

Be glad you run only 3 at 70 cause its good for the gas milage.
