When I crank my z up I can hear water flowing behind the dashboard. It sounds like pouring water into a sink from a cup. Then is calms and go away. Is that normal?

hmm could be your heater core has a leak maybe.... which would require you to pull your dash...do you smell coolant when you turn the heat on??

I have no leaks in the car at all so I do not know. I was wondering.

Try burping your coolant system. Start the car from cold, with the radiator cap off, on a slight incline with the nose of the car higher than the tail. Run the heater on full blast 90 degrees and let it idle for a while with the radiator cap off. Once the engine reaches temp and the thermostat opens, you should be able to get any air out of your system.

Sounds like your system might be low on coolant. That sound is gulps of air going through the heater core

Update: I burped the car today it had shown improvement but it still goes up. I will burp it again to see if additional air is in the system. I will say stayed are normal temp more than at high temp so something is working.
