So, I have a 2010 Rogue 360 and I was starting to hear a rattle underneath my car. It appeared to me the headshield around the center portion of the exhaust was loose. I brought it to the dealer and they confirmed it came loose and reattached it. The next day I hear the rattle again and when I looked underneath, it appears the heatshield came loose again. I thought to myself, "Maybe this is how the heat shield is supposed to be." But I can't help but think it was tucked up further into the chassis when I got it. And no, I didn't hit anything. So, should the heat shield be hanging down like this?

The IMG tags only work if you have a direct link to the image. In other words, when you follow the URL you should only see the image itself in your browser. If you follow the URL you provided it's a link to a Dropbox page (note the Dropbox header and buttons, etc) despite the way the URL is formatted to make it look like a direct link to an image.

Dropbox makes it difficult to get the actual image URL. Normally you can just right-click on an image to get its URL. After digging through the source it looks like the image is actually at:
https://photos-1.dropbox.com/t/0/AADTNN ... Ah2cxtmopw

Sticking that in the IMG tags results in:

Dropbox is fine for sharing, not so much for posting. If you want to embed a photo, try a service like ImageShack http://imageshack.us/ They have both free and paid services it's super easy to use.

Nice underbody, so clean. So anyway, Just looked at my 2009 Rogue and I want to confirm that I don't see anything as obtrusive as that thin metal knife-like thin heatshield that would make some poor unsuspecting rabbit who might be in harms way. OUCH!

Unless, I don't have one, I do not see anything like that if that helps. Moreover, if I had too see that under my Rogue it would visually bother me.

Other than that, I do not know if yours is normal but I prefer it not being shown like that. :)

man i hate heat shields lol - they rust, rattle, fall off, etc.

they either didnt install it correctly, or the original mounting point are bad (rust or broken). or they screwed it in with self-tapping screws and didnt use thread-lock on the screw(its a goop that keeps bolts/screws/nuts from coming loose. its almost like a thread glue) UNLESS IT WAS WELDED TO THE EXHAUST PIPE ITSELF AND NOTHING MORE = then they need to re-weld it.
