To make the long story short, I went to grab the manifold / turbo to get it mounted onto the motor when it SLIPPED out of my hand..!!!

@#$%$%$#@

So it dropped on the wastegate itself and ended up separating the wastegate feed pipe off the collector..!!

From what I can see, 1/2 the pipe cracked and made a slit opening at the weld spot and the other side is still intact..!!

Here are some pics of what im talking about. Maybe u guys can tell me if this can be re-welded.

Red "x" is making it difficult for me to judge.

More often than not, welds can be redone.

99.999999% of the time metal can be rewelded unless the heat change during the welding process has deteroated its tensil\sheer strength.

just find someone that knows how to weld, a friend of mine had a bov flange welded on his hot pipe and i think i could have done a better job with my eyes closed with one hand. i wouldnt imagine a cracked manifold being fun if it wernt repaired correctly.

i work in with my dad doing custom metal fabrication, from your decription the most i would charge you is 60$.

ive never heard of anyone dropping sumthing like that. u must have been eating some popeyes chicken..........lol. it can be rewelded if the welder is skilled........

just take it to a machien shop to get it reweld it can be done. the crack isn't that big
