You can contact him on the Skyline Downunder Forum. Seems Legit. I am even thinking about getting a car from him. But also check Sky-kit.com

i talked to one of the guys from that company, i believe his name was kendall noble. they bring the cars in without an engine as a rolling chassis, then they find motors that are in better condition than the stock motors if they are in bad shape, (i think, thats what he said). when they get everything to there lots in mississippi and texas they put it all together. i forgot to ask if you could swap in your own parts at that point for an extra charge or something, but you would have to catch the car being imported to have it done i think? the way they do it seems to bypass all of the regulations on skylines, except for for this thing i read about skylines not being able to be registered as kit cars because they are a production car in another country. he said that the noble kit cars are considered production cars in europe or somewhere and that they can be registered as kit cars here in the u.s., but i don't know if the same applies for skylines. if someone could find this out it would really make things clear. if you live in a cool state like florida or georgia then you can register and insure any car that has a previous title, like the one they give you at fast4wheels. so i guess i'm gonna be getting a skyline. i have to sell my infiniti G35 first and my turbonetics turbo kit, if anyones interested .

I bought an R33 GTS-T Type M from F4wheels last march. I had it titled and registered as a nissan skyline GTS-T (1995, which it was) in the state of Georgia. It even passed emissions, and Progressive insured it. Kendall is a straight-up guy, and very easy to do business with. I know they just picked up 5 cars, and they are really clean. Yeah they haven't gone through the gauntlet of the federal government, but that's about the closest you can get to legal without persuing the Motorex rout. Give Kendall a call, and if you are a serious buyer, he will set you straight.

Hey guys,

I'll be importing my own skyline in February and so far the best company that I've come across is Japan Auto Direct (www.japanautodirect.com). The guy I've been talking to is Nyck and he is located in Japan (I think the company has some 50 employees).

Every time I've e-mailed him he has been very quick to respond and not pushy what-so-ever. In fact, I asked him to provide some references since there is a lot of money involved and he was more than happy to do so. In fact, he gave me a reference of a guy here in Winnipeg (where I am currently), and also gave me the contact info for the customs broker they generally deal with in Vancouver.

As of yet, I haven't actually put in money down or started the process as I am still collecting some funds to put the process through. Also, winter is coming and I would have to drive from Vancouver to Prince George (where I live) in ice and snow and since I'm used to driving a 92HP FWD 88 Honda Civic, I can't see my first time in a 274HP+ AWD 91 GTR turning out too well for me driving 10 hours through ice and snow.

If anyone has any other information about these guys (good or bad) post it and let us all know. So far, like I said, I've been pretty impressed with them and can't wait to get my car off of them!

D

We have not stopped registering cars completely. Just cars other people imported. Ill tell you what give me a call and we will talk. There are just a lot of variables. I wanna make sure your car isnt here under temp. visa or other problems. I know a guy who still does titling. He is down in Florida. You just happened to call fro the wrong state at the wrong time. Give me a call.Kendall228 861 4849http://www.f4w.us
