Is this car worth the money?

Hey Guys and Girls Need your opion on this.

I been looking for a 5 speed Hatch for a while now. There is none in ATL that is in ok Condition other then this one I found.

But of course there is things wrong with the car.

It need a New Clutch, A new Trunk since it has a new spoiler, and a new Gruge since the fuel is on the bottom.

BUt the Fame has no rust or anything I can tell.

How much would you pay for the car. He is Ask $2100 for the car but I am thinking about offering him about $1600 since he needed the money.

I am in no way trying to bust your balls or anything, but were you drunk when you wrote this post? I lost you after new clutch. Why does it need a new trunk? Do you mean you want to take the new spoiler off? And i have no idea what you are saying at the end.

Nah I am not Drunk. I just try to put word between the one i already type and did not read it over. Sorry BTW I am in class so..

What I am trying to say is there is no rust on the car when I look under the car fame.

Also I am asking if you were me how much would you pay for a car that need a new Trunk, A new Clutch and it also need a Gauge Cluster. The Guy is asking $2100 for the car but I am thinking offering him $1600 for the car. Also he is in need of money so I think he would be cool to take $1600 for the car.

I also forgot to put in some info.It is a 1990 240SX HatchBack 5 SpeedThe car has 149.000 miles on itThe Inside look goodIt has P/W/LSunroof.

If you are planning on doing the repairs yourself, Yeah....its not a killer deal but I think its fair.

The Clutch I am going to pay someone to do it but other stuff I will do it my self!

definatly take it out for a nice test drive, make sure there's no smoke blowing from anywhere, check for any type of leaks in the engine bay. If it is mechanically inclined (besides the clutch) i'd say $1400 is good, i'd pay $1500, but i wouldn't tell him that.

I think when the car was first brough the person brought the Sport Package too. Since it has the Spoiler and front Lip Also.

But that does not matter if the car not run right so I am going to tonight to test drive it!

Ok went to test drive the Car Holy **** there is not much of a Clutch leftI had to let go the clutch so slow to about 1/2 inch to the top before it catch and ran.OkIt look like it need a new Valve cover gasket and F/I O-Ring and stuff
