Obviously I have a stock KA24DE, but on the head between the spark plugs, one of the bolts holding the head down had some oil around it. I went to tighten it and it just spun! It won't tighten!

Is this bad? What problems can this cause if it is bad?

So what could happen if I let this problem slide and pretend nothing happened?

Yeah, he didnt answer your question well.Yeah, that is kinda bad. You need to get a machine shop to drill out and tap the hole that the screw fits into so you can get a tight hold on the cover. You then need an over sized screw to fit the new threading. Also just replace the seal on the valve cover.

Well yeah I want to take care of it, but I'm saving for an RB26. Until then though, I need to be really nice to this car.

Edit: Thanks though!
