Is this bad that i am able to take my key out of the ignition whil im actually driving the car or the car is on. I can actually pull the key out easily while driving the car. Kinda weird and i never noticed it before unless it just started doing it. Is it something to replace or just ignore it?

A lot of cars do that due to wear. I rarely use my key in my Blazer anymore because it has the plastic thing that I can twist and it doesn't have an accessory setting so I just click it back without locking it and keep the key in my pocket.

Datsun Z cars are notorious for that as well from what I've seen. The simple thing to do would be to just replace the assembly with a new one and it won't do that. There's a chance a locksmith might be able to replace the tumblers and such inside so that it doesn't do that but I'm not sure.
