Is this all the stuff that I need to turbo my ka. I just plan on putting together a cheap setup.

*T3 Turbocharger*T3 Manifold(w/ external wastegate)*Oil drain and return lines*FMU*Manual Boost controller*Turbo timer*FMIC I don't plan on running alot of boost. I just want to create a basic setup now, and upgrade later Thanx in advance

no, you need a downpipe, external wastegate with like a 7psi spring, you can ditch the boost controler cause you wont be able to turn it much past 7psi anyways with only an fmu. also you need a walbro 255lph fuel pump, a bov, and then set aside like 1k(seriously) for the random s*** that is garenteed to pop up when you turbo a NA motor

So if I use a FMU, do I still have to upgrade my fuel pump. Also, what kind of FMU should I get 12:1, 10:1, or 8:1

Please read the stickies at the top and do some research, ohh and dont forget doing a cheap setup does not always = reliable setup. So decide on your goals and your budget and go from there.

For a bare bones setup you've got a good start. I also suggest swapping in the 255lph pump. It's just alot better then the stock unit. But if this is for an S14 you may be ok. They have a better fuel pump and ignition then the S13.

No need for a BOV either. They lead to lots of problems and aren't really needed for such a low boost number. If you do get one, just get a Bosch Bypass Valve. They are like 30 bucks and work very well.

8:1 FMU is the best. I recommend using a known good brand like Vortech.

No man, that wasn't me. I live in southern MD. I have a red zenki with a faded roof and steelies. Wish that was my car, sounds like it looked pretty sick
