is this a spun rod bearing?

Pardon my lack of knowledge...but I have never seen anything like this. Is this what a spun rod bearing is?









Ok...so now that you guys can see...I have some questions.

1. What caused this?2. Is rod a nice paper weight now?3. Can crank be fixed or is it screwed?

Is that the only rod like that? If that is a KA I would pick up another one (they are very common) . could be allot of things--oil starvation, excessive clearances, oil breakdown. you have EXTREME wear. the locking tabs look like they havn't moved so the bearing didn't actually spin. did it damage the crank?
