Is this a heater and is it necessary?

Ok well it is always sunny and hot in the caribbean and i was told that the 2 water pipes going into the intake manifold on the rb20 was for a heater to warm the air in cold climates... Is this true and if this is so in my case wouldnt it just heat up the intake air after being intercooler and with my climate i don't see any advantages, only disadvantages of not disconnecting it. Can anyone verify if it is ok to disconnect these 2 and just loop them?

no it doesnt really go into the intake manifold. its just an air bleeder. everytime u do a coolant swap or lose coolant than u need to refill and unscrew the bolt on top and the bubbles come out. if you dont do this than air bubbles can trap in your head and warp it and **** a bunch of things up.

u could eliminate it by making a air bleeder hose somewhere else instead of the intake but that would require some custom fab.

if you look at the other side of the intake manifold theres a coolant hose that goes to the throttle body too. these are all sources where it heats up the air going into the engine. u can cap those off that go to the throttle body.

dont cap anything.bypass using a length of hose and some joiners but dont cap anything.i would delete the coolant lines (byapss) on the throttle body, they super heat the intake manifold and the incoming air.
