Is This a Good Turbo

Its a T04e stage 3 wheel .50 ar and .50 ar exhaust. Its not a t3/t4 its a full t03e. It is a custom turbonetics. It is a friend of mine who has an built mr2 and he wants bigger for his goals. I am wondering if any one has used something simular and if this would be a good turbo for the ca. I have standalone with 550's right now and I am looking for a street CA with GOOD spool and about 300 hp give or take cause spool is more important to me. Let me know your thoughts.

Whoa... do u have pics? Because a t4 flange id different from a t3 so a manifold will be hard to get. Also those are small a/r's for a t04. Ide kill for a .50 backhousing a/r.

Just kidding, didnt see this in the ca forum. Still, your only manifold option would be the ss autochrome and you should do some research before getting it.

I dont have pics right now cause it is on my friends car he has it on a built mr2 2L. He is trying to sell it to me or whoever but it is a true t04e. If I get it it will go on the CA. I would be making a custom mani if I get this I have a friend who is a professional certified welder that owes me a favor or 2. So would this be a good turbo for my goal and requirments and what would it be worth its hardly used 3k miles at most.

doesn't say which to4e compressor wheel. Probably external wastegate too.never heard of.... a stage3 t04e turbine wheel? no. t3 stage3, yes..50 a/r t4 exhaust housing? no. 0.58 a/r, yes

too vague. I'd pass on the turbo. Get the exact turbo to meet your goals. A bolt on internally gated t28 would do.If you gonna make a mani, u could run a evo3 16g like I plan. 300hp capable. Good spool and a perfect match for the 550s. Should you outgrow that, yank it off and replace with a 20g.Or go with a common t3/0.48/std wheel/s-trim/t04b for 300hp.... bigger turbo will bolt in its place later

Find out everything about the turbo and look for a map. I like Mitsu turbines, but Garretts offer much more versatility.
