How many miles does your car have on it?Also I have several cx-racing parts on my sr, I would just get a different waste-gate, and the BOV is very trick to get right ( I had to take it apart and take one of the two springs out. Just remember it is a cheap kit and modification will most likely be required.

i agree... its the cheapest turbo kit for a ka but its still priced at over 1k and basically the part that im worried about is mainly the turbo and header but wastgate and bov i dont worried too much about it thats why i get a boost gauge to monitor how many psi the turbo is pushing.

I have a friend that ran a cx racing turbo on his ls at 14 psi daily driven. I don't think you will run into any problems running it at 7 psi. Which is as high as your gonna want to run it on fully stock internals.

Doesn't sound like a bad deal! You can always upgrade Turbo later but I highly rec doing rods and bearings. I don't know how many people that have killed there la and its always bottom end. That's why I switched to sr and have been happy with it for 5 years now!

If its float or needle bearing they just don't last as long and take a second to spool. I'm on a gt3071r and all my friends said it wouldn't spool fast enough...they were way wrong! Dual ball bearing is the shizzle!

Do you think it would be neccesary to get a cam shaft or would my stock one be fine with a turbo?

Na. You can crank plenty extra ponies without a cam. It wouldn't hurt though.
