I've got a local guy wanting to sell me a ca18de swap for my s13, he said he would take 500 for complete swap. sound like a good price? also, just to double check my self, is the de swap the same as doin a det?

well, its actually for my daily driver, i have a fully built sr in my other 240, anyways to make a long story short the ka started to knock the other day, so i figured what the hell, so should i go for it or not?

not worth it imo, the KA N/A is more powerfull then a 1.8L NA. Ited be pointless. Plus you'ed be stuck with the headache of gettin a 15yr old motor started. For no power gains.

Sounds like you are being ripped off.

You need to tell that guy to go away and not to talk to him cause he is taking advantage of you...

DE is not the same as DET! DE is an N/A motor but if ur talking about wiring then yes its the same process!
