Is this a good price for this Hardbody?

I've been shopping for a clean lowish mileage hardbody and came across this '97 with only 75,000 miles and no visible rust from the pics at least. The guy is asking 6k for it, blue book is telling me 4000-4500. I've been finding prices all over the place with these trucks is it fair to go by blue book value or is there just that much of a demand for them they will have a higher price than book value?

The guy is dreaming at 6k. Even 4-4.5k is high. If the mileage checks out then he has a good case but cash is king and for 6k you can buy a newer truck with the same miles. Hopefully he's not a dreamer.

Ok good I wasn't sure b/c some of these classifieds these guys are asking crazy money even for trucks with 300k+ miles. I don't mind paying a little more for a rust free example but just want to make sure I'm not paying too much.
