It's gold with a scratch on driver side door. it has a salvage title, even though car is fine. it's not in the greatest condition when you pop the hood. a little dusty, the battery is disgusting, but it only has 63k on it. only thing wrong with interior is dash is cracked a little b/c air bag came out on passenger side. it's an automatic. i wouldn't want an auto, but who cares really, this guy only wants 4000 for it. 4000 bucks for 63k miles. he's kind of in a dilemma, b/c he just went out and bought a pathfinder without first selling his 240, so the loan company is pissed off or something. anyways, if anyone's interested, i could give you the guy's number. i live in nebraska. this guy really needs to sell fast. my friend won't buy it though, that pisses me off, i thought he would. anyways, post if you're interested.

I wouldn't buy a salvage title car either. It sounds like it's not been taken care of. I'd rather have a car with 163k that's been meticulously maintained than this one.

I can appreciate you passing this on though, so don't take that the wrong way.

well, the main reason i want my friend to buy it is because we've only ever seen 3 s14s here in nebraska. they're VERY rare. i don't want another hondakid to end up with it. i know people in this forum appreciate their car.

Hey red240ne, the dilema with you wanting more s14's is that you want NICE s14's in nebraska, not ones that are beat up and have salvage titles. Thats just my two cents though, and please don't take offense to it.

Ok, give your friend a break- first, it's an auto, I'd rather have a freakin' honda *shivers* than a 240 with an automatic. Also, the thing's been in a wreck large enough for the airbags to be deployed; which would probably lead to some amount of frame damage. Furthermore, do you expect him to buy a car with obvious engine neglect? If you want it, buy it yourself, but expenses in the magnitude range of a car are the buyer's business, not his friends. Anyway, if the guy was to stupid to wait until he could sell the car, it's his own fault.

Just my $0.02
