Is this a good deal?

I am looking at a 1991 240 that has i believe to be 140K on the dash. It does have the lsd, and the body is in really good shape, other than the hood, and one headlight assembly is a different color. The shift boot and knob is in rough shape, the interior isa little rough, the owner has added a sunroof. It smokes between shifts occasionally and has had some rear brake problems previously-the calipers were frozen almost tight-is this something that is easily remedied? He wants 1200 for it-what do you guys think?

the calipers in the rear...looks like someone's gonna have to get a seal kit for the rear, sand down the pistons with a really fine sand paper (40 bucks from courtesy)...get a new shift boot and knob (varies on your own personal taste), smokes might want to have a closer look at that, but of all things, I just don't know about "added a sunroof". Otherwise sounds pretty good, nothin that a bit of paint and some time can't fix. All in all...dunno I guess that's a pretty decent find. Try to talk it down to 1k and that'll be somethin good...unless the engine work is a bit expensive. Just my thoughts.

Factory LSD means SuperHICAS and ABS. Assuming it's factory. Some people like HICAS others do not. Sounds like quick has about the right price. Although I would prob. only give 800 or less because I am cheap.

damn...1200 for a 91...i paid 2100 for a 90 w/ 120k miles AND the paint is faded AND the A/C doesnt really work. then again i live in the bay area :P
