I would give him about $1700 max. Pretty much the only use for it is the front clip, and it has 108k miles on it, so that is quite a bit of miles for a front clip.

lol, actually i saw that too and thought about it. but why buy it for the front clip when you can buy a jdm front clip for somewhere around 2-2.5k with less than 60k miles on it? =\

^ because there's a ton of stuff on that white Z that could be parted out and sold to recoup money. If it were up to me I'd buy the parts car that he linked as opposed to a front clip

when you buy a clip from a retail supplier you have someone to stand behind the product if you pull the oil pan and find a half a connecting rod, when you buy from an individual, once you buy it it's your problem, so the price should be adjusted accordingly, the extra parts are a perk, I'd be amazed if the RR wheel was still round, and a set of 3 wheels isn't worth much, that being said yes I am all about selling off other usable spares to offset the cost, but thats a benefit to you and none of the sellers concern

i'd buy it if i had the cash. extra interior parts, all KINDS of trivial car parts. countless trim pieces that are a little messed up or broken. new seats. new this, new that. potentially - you'd have to go look at it.

i'd talk 'em down and scoop it up though for sure.

I like the part where he mentions that the car still runs, but the alignment is messed up. But anyway, if you can talk him down you should take it. If you think about it, all the work is on you when you buy a parts car.

Good news is that if you do get the car I'd like to know what it'd take to get the steering wheel and possibly the OE shift knob and boots if they're in good condition.

ya, thanks for all the info. I am going to look at it today and most likely get it. not for that price though. I have another z and am going to use this one for parts and for all the other parts that I don't need I am going to sell. Again thank you all for your input.
