It appears to be a good deal. but then again you never know until you take it for a test drive and check everything out. im not sure about illinois but in New england we use way to much road salts. so you would want to check the frame for rust/rot usually underneath the brake master cylinder that is a common spot for frame rot. good luck to you and hopefully its a good buy.

I wouldn't go for it inless they dropped the price to around 2.5k - 3k 3.5k seems a little high even considering what is done to it... But beware that you might be getting someone's project car that they've fixed up but haven't done things properly and there might be issues with it... Not to discourage you or anything. I hope that it all works out for you!

keep looking for one with nicer paint and less cheesy useless mods that the seller thinks are cool.

i say try to finder a stock-er car... who knows that that sellers been doing to that car... abusing the poor little thing... and on it's death wish it wanted to be sold to someone else.. and hes doing just that =)
